The function, role, power and responsibility of Kubang Pasu District Council as the Local Authority are based on the Acts and Subsidiary Legislations in which has been accepted and used in the management of the Council. The three main acts that has been used by the Kubang Pasu District Council:-
a) The Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171)
b) The Town and Regional Planning Act 1976 (Act 172)
c) The Road, Drainage and Building Act 1974 (Act 133)
d) The Food Act 1983
e)The Pest Diseases Carrier Act 1975
